Softball Game Preview: Fisher Gators vs. Calvary Baptist Academy Cavaliers

The Fisher Gators are taking a road trip to square off against the Calvary Baptist Academy Cavaliers at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Fisher is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out De La Salle 5-4.

Meanwhile, while Calvary Baptist Academy put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Airline. The Cavaliers came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 5-0. The Cavaliers haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Kynzee Anderson made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Baylor Bockhaus, who went 1-for-4 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Brynn Robinson, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base.

The victory got Fisher back to even at 11-11. As for Calvary Baptist Academy, their record now sits at 33-1.
