Baseball Recap: St. Paul Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact St. Paul can now relate to. They fell just short of the Temecula Valley Golden Bears by a score of 4-3 on Thursday.

Robert Encinas Jr made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-5 with one stolen base and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Marcus Munoz, who went 2-for-4 with one run.

St. Paul has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-10 record this season. As for Temecula Valley, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-11.

St. Paul does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Temecula Valley, they will face off against Great Oak at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
