Baseball Recap: Columbia Comes Up Short

Columbia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 10-0 to the Fairfield Central Griffins. The Capitals were not able to make up for their defeat to the Griffins from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Fairfield Central, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-7.

Coincidentally, Columbia and Fairfield Central will both be playing Dreher the next time they take the field. Columbia will head out to face Dreher at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Fairfield Central will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on April 2.
