Volleyball Recap: Brighton Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Farmington

Brighton faced Farmington in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Brighton fell just short of Farmington by a score of 3-2.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Farmington to victory, but perhaps none more so than Charlie Evans, who had 13 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Evans has posted over his last nine matches.

Brighton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Farmington, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-3.

Brighton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Corner Canyon on the 26th. As for Farmington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Layton on the 25th.
