Brimfield came tearing into Monday's match with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 14-7 margin over the Fieldcrest Knights. Considering the Indians have won 16 games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Noah Malone looked comfortable as he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five).

At the plate, Kaeden Schatsiek was a standout: he went 2-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Layne Johnson, who went 1-for-5 with one home run and four RBI.

Brimfield pushed their record up to 23-4-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Fieldcrest, their loss dropped their record down to 13-11.
