Soccer Game Preview: Alief Elsik vs. Fulshear

The Alief Elsik Rams will venture away from home to take on the Fulshear Chargers at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Alief Elsik is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Alief Elsik's offense. They came up short against Lake Creek on Tuesday, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 487th, while the Lions are ranked 95th).

Meanwhile, Fulshear unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They and George Ranch finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result kept the Chargers happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 11th.

Fulshear's draw gives them a new season record of 4-5-2. As for Alief Elsik, they now have a losing record at 6-7-1.
