Basketball Game Preview: LaCrosse Leopards vs. Ingalls Bulldogs

The LaCrosse Leopards will be taking part in a tournament against the Ingalls Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Monday, LaCrosse humbled Satanta with a 68-33 victory.

Meanwhile, Ingalls was able to grind out a solid victory over Deerfield on Monday, taking the game 58-45. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

LaCrosse better keep an eye on Breck Averhoff. He was instrumental in Ingalls' win, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 11 boards. Averhoff has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Langston Nothern, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 12 points along with five assists and five boards.

The win got LaCrosse back to even at 1-1. As for Ingalls, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
