Volleyball Recap: Cardinal Gibbons' Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cardinal Gibbons can now relate to. They fell just short of the King's Academy Lions by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Chiefs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Cardinal Gibbons took King's Academy into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-22, 25-21, 23-25, 15-12.
