Basketball Recap: Cardinal O'Hara Takes a Loss

Cardinal O'Hara lost against St. Francis back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cardinal O'Hara Hawks took a 56-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Francis Red Raiders. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading St. Francis to victory were Andrew Lindstrom and Matthew Zielinski. Lindstrom went 7-for-15 to rack up 19 points and six rebounds, while Zielinski went 6-for-11 en route to 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Newby-Mckinnie, who posted four points and five boards.

Cardinal O'Hara's defeat dropped their record down to 6-17. As for St. Francis, their record is now 9-13.

Cardinal O'Hara has already played their next game, a 61-47 loss against Niagara Falls on the 18th. As for St. Francis, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 69-61 defeat against Nichols on the 17th.
