Recap: Sanford Warriors vs. Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials
Even though the Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials scored an imposing 55 points on Sunday, the Sanford Warriors still came out on top. Sanford secured a 59-55 W over Plymouth Whitemarsh. The win made it back-to-back wins for Sanford.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sanford to victory, but perhaps none more so than Marquis Newson, who scored 17 points along with 8 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jayden Taylor, who scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds.
Sanford's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Plymouth Whitemarsh, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Sanford will be playing in front of their home fans against Middletown at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Plymouth Whitemarsh, they will head out on the road to face off against Hatboro-Horsham at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
