Baseball Recap: Wharton's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Wednesday

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Wharton couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 11-6 to the Plant Panthers on Wednesday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Wildcats, who until this contest were averaging 3.1 runs allowed.

Chase Anello made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. Chase Andress was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI.
