Soccer Game Preview: Desert Hills vs. Pine View

The Desert Hills Thunder will face off against the Pine View Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Desert Hills has given up an average of 3 goals per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Desert Hills is headed into Thursday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They lost 6-3 to Dixie. While losing is never fun, Desert Hills can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah soccer rankings (they are ranked 71st, while Dixie are ranked 17th).

Boone Heaton and Tyson Hendrix scored all three of Desert Hills' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Pine View's offense. They fell 2-0 to Crimson Cliffs on Tuesday.

Pine View has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Desert Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.
