The Model Patriots can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 46-19 victory over Iroquois. Winning may never get old, but Model sure is getting used to it with their eighth in a row.
Iroquois' loss came despite strong showings from Fifi Munezero and Shay Richardson. Munezero scored seven points along with 13 rebounds and three blocks, while Richardson scored four points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Model has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Iroquois, they dropped their record down to 5-18 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Model will challenge Madison Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Madison Central focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Wednesday. Iroquois does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
