St. Augustine and Catholic squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but St. Augustine had to settle for second. They lost 17-2 to the Bears. The defeat continues a trend for the Purple Knights in their meetings with the Bears: they've now lost eight in a row.

St. Augustine's loss dropped their record down to 17-21. As for Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-5 record this season.

St. Augustine does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Catholic, they have already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Holy Cross on the 29th.
