Basketball Recap: Benton HomeSchool Takes a Loss

Benton HomeSchool entered their matchup against Kokomo HomeSchool on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Benton HomeSchool Bucks fell 54-41 to the Kokomo HomeSchool Eagles. The game marked the Bucks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

It was another big night for Drew Beery, who went 9 for 15 en route to 23 points along with seven rebounds and three steals for Kokomo HomeSchool. Thanks to that strong game, Beery now owns an excellent 45.3% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of David Hart, who went 5 of 7 to rack up 12 points.

Benton HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 21-8. As for Kokomo HomeSchool, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 25-7 record this season.
