Volleyball Recap: Rochester School for the Deaf Comes Up Short

Rochester School for the Deaf was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Archangel. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Archangel earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Rochester School for the Deaf was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-23.

Evangeline Fisher-Palmer paced Rochester School for the Deaf's offense, picking up ten kills. Fisher-Palmer got some help from Ashley Stuhlberg and her 14 assists. Kezia Sosa and Kalena Sickler kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Rochester School for the Deaf's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Archangel, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Rochester School for the Deaf has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Finney on the 15th. Archangel does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
