Mize has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Scott Central Rebels at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mize has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 258 points over their last six games.

With a playoff game on the line, Mize rose to the challenge on Friday. They breezed by St. Andrew's Episcopal at home to the tune of 62-3. Mize might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won five matches by 21 points or more this season.

Mize's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Jamiyon Gray, who rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns, and Brandon Hancock, who gained 114 total yards and three touchdowns. Hancock was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 68 yards. Mize also got a significant boost from Wesley Little, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 86 yards.

Meanwhile, Scott Central waltzed into Friday's match with four straight wins but they left with five. They took down Bogue Chitto 43-28. Scott Central pushed the score to 36-14 by the end of the third, a deficit Bogue Chitto cut but never quite recovered from.

Scott Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tyquan Bounds, who rushed for 172 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamari Thomas, who threw for 132 yards and three touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes.

Mize's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.5 points per game. As for Scott Central, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.
