There's no place like home for Sarasota Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They were the clear victors by a 21-5 margin over the All Saints' Academy Saints on Tuesday. The Blazers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by six runs or more this season.
Sarasota Christian got a massive performance out of Ashton Klinger, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. That's the most stolen bases Klinger has posted since back in April of 2024. Selah Spenn was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.
Sarasota Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as All Saints' Academy only managed three hits.
The win got Sarasota Christian back to even at 6-6. As for All Saints' Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sarasota Christian will head out to face off against Admiral Farragut at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for All Saints' Academy, they will face off against Lakeland at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
