Basketball Recap: Mishawaka Gets the Win

On Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, the Mishawaka Cavemen beat the Twin Lakes Indians 59-55.

When it comes to explaining why Twin Lakes lost, don't look at Jack Kaufmann. Despite the final result, he went 5 of 8 en route to 15 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Bryce Wilhite, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 16 points.

Mishawaka's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Twin Lakes, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mishawaka will challenge Northview at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Northview's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matchups. As for Twin Lakes, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Frontier at 7:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
