Meanwhile, Hill City came tearing into Saturday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.6 points), and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 66-49 victory over the Tatanka.

Hill City's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for St. Thomas More, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 14-4.

St. Thomas More was able to grind out a solid victory over Hill City when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 65-54. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Thomas More since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
