While Trinity Christian's victory against Fort Worth Christian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lions skirted past the Cardinals 3-2. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Trinity Christian was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 27-29, 25-11, 15-25, 25-22, 23-21.
