Basketball Game Preview: Batesville Bulldogs vs. South Dearborn Knights

Two dominant forwards in Cade Kaiser and Tyler Christian are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Batesville Bulldogs will host the South Dearborn Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Batesville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

On Saturday, Batesville needed a bit of extra time to put away Hauser. They came out on top against the Jets by a score of 72-64.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, South Dearborn's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They lost 75-52 to Southwestern. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Knights have suffered since January 2nd.

South Dearborn's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Batesville, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Batesville didn't have too much breathing room in their game against South Dearborn in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 49-45 victory. Does Batesville have another victory up their sleeve, or will South Dearborn turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
