Basketball Recap: Williamston Takes a Loss

Williamston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 66-65 heartbreaker at the hands of the Haslett Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-53 back in January.

Williamston's record now sits at 4-15. As for Haslett, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Williamston will welcome Grand Ledge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Haslett, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Walled Lake Western at 7:00 p.m.
