Basketball Game Preview: North Rockland Raiders vs. Mamaroneck Tigers

North Rockland is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They skirted past Suffern 53-50. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Mamaroneck, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in February. They strolled past Mount Vernon with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 65-49. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Mamaroneck's victory was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points over those games. As for North Rockland, their win bumped their record up to 19-3.

North Rockland ended up a good deal behind Mamaroneck in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, losing 53-35. Can North Rockland avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
