Basketball Recap: Maine Central Institute Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Maine Central Institute's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 44-42 win over the Winslow Black Raiders. The victory was some much needed relief for the Huskies as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Maine Central Institute's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-10. As for Winslow, they dropped their record down to 1-13 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
