Volleyball Recap: Park Vista Takes a Loss

Park Vista managed to slip by Boca Raton the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Park Vista Cobras came up short against the Boca Raton Bobcats on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Cobras were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Park Vista was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 20 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20, 25-20.

Their offense was headlined by Tyler Gally and Thomas Duchock, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Robert Abel and his three assists.

The defeat snapped Park Vista's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-8 record. As for Boca Raton, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Park Vista will take on Palm Beach Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Boca Raton, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Boca Raton Bobcats duke it out with Olympic Heights Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be Olympic Heights' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
