Volleyball Recap: Alma Center Lincoln Takes a Loss

Alma Center Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Whitehall Norse. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-22, 25-12.

Despite the loss, Alma Center Lincoln still got an impressive performance from Mikeala Wagner, who had 20 digs and five aces. Wagner is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season.

Whitehall had a senior duo take command as Avvia Herman had 13 digs and four aces and Kyla Lambeck had 22 assists and ten digs.

Alma Center Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Whitehall, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Alma Center Lincoln didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Independence/Gilmanton on the 2nd. As for Whitehall, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Cochrane-Fountain City on the 2nd.
