Lyons won the last time they faced Williamson and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lions blew past the Marauders 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lyons took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-7, 25-11.

Keira Weber paced Lyons' offense, picking up eight kills. Weber got some help from Kamryn Bonnell and her 14 assists. Bonnell also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Addy Jones, racking up five apiece.

Lyons' victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Lyons will be playing in front of their home fans against Hornell at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Williamson, they will take on East Rochester at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
