It was a good run, but  Carl Albert unfortunately witnessed the end of their  seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell  7-3 to the Noble Bears. The Titans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bears earlier this season, when they won  4-3.
  Davonte Jones was cooking despite his team's loss,   getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances with two  stolen bases and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  Beau Davis, who  went 2-for-4 with one  stolen base and two  RBI.
Carl Albert's  defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 13-1 and their overall record down to 24-5. As for Noble, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record  this season.
 Carl Albert is taking a road trip to  face off against Elgin  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (the Titans 2.9, the Owls 2.4) so any  runs scored will be well earned. As for Noble, they will host Norman  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
