Fairbanks is a perfect 8-0 against Catholic Central since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Irish at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Fairbanks has five straight wins, Catholic Central has 28 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Fairbanks is returning to their home field after beating Madison Plains on theirs, despite the fact Madison Plains has dominated at home this season. The Panthers put the hurt on the Golden Eagles with a sharp 17-1 victory on Thursday. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 games by six runs or more this season.
Macy Kise was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, Jenna Dee was a standout: she went 3-for-5 with three doubles, four RBI, and two runs. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Elizabeth Gregory, who got on base in four of her six plate appearances with three runs, two RBI, and one double.
Fairbanks kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in five consecutive contests.
The home team had come away the winner the last four times Catholic Central and Cedarville had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Irish lost 20-2 to the Indians on Thursday.
Fairbanks' win was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Catholic Central, their loss dropped their record down to 0-15.
