Soccer Recap: Sonora Gets the Win

Sonora won the last time they faced Escalon and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Sonora Wildcats had just enough and edged the Escalon Cougars out 5-4. Samuel Villafana was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Sonora's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Escalon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-10-4.

Sonora didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Orestimba on the 24th. As for Escalon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 0-0 draw against Hilmar on the 24th.
