Volleyball Recap: Waukesha South Comes Up Short

Waukesha South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Hartford Orioles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blackshirts of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Among those leading the charge was Adrianna Marek, who had five digs and three aces.

Waukesha South's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waukesha South will venture away from home to face off against Waukesha North at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hartford, they will head out to take on Grafton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The game will give the Orioles their first taste of in-conference action this season.
