Carver High School of Engineering & Science took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They came out on top against Paul Robeson by a score of 71-63.

Meanwhile, Hill Freedman World Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over MAST Charter II on Thursday, taking the game 62-49. Given Hill Freedman World Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 310th, while MAST Charter II is ranked 692nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science better keep an eye on Dahkenah Wilkins. He was instrumental in Hill Freedman World Academy's win, as he made all 13 shots he took to post 32 points and six steals. Wilkins is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Amaad Lyles, who posted seven points and five steals.
