Football Game Preview: Holt Indians vs. Parkway North Vikings

The Holt Indians will face off against the Parkway North Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Holt is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They never let Clayton/Brentwood get on the board and left with a 50-0 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Indians considering their ten-point performance the matchup before.

Meanwhile, Parkway North came tearing into last Friday's game with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.4 points), and they left with even more momentum. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 51-14 victory over the Comets. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Vikings' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri football rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Comets are ranked 166th).

The win got Holt back to even at 5-5. As for Parkway North, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.

Holt took a serious blow against Parkway North in their previous matchup back in October of 2015, falling 70-6. Can the Indians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
