Football Game Preview: Rouse Raiders vs. Glenn Grizzlies

Rouse is a perfect 5-0 against Glenn since November of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Raiders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. Rouse is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

On Friday, Rouse had just enough and edged out East View 24-21. The 24-point effort marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Rouse got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Anthony Reyes out in front who rushed for 116 yards, and also picked up 45 receiving yards and one score. London Morgan was another key signal caller, throwing for 201 yards and one touchdown.

Rouse didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Liam Mongold and Adrian Agbasoga.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Glenn). Everything went their way against Chaparral on Friday as they made off with a 42-20 win. The Grizzlies not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since November 1, 2024 (when they won 56-7).

Glenn's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Rouse, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Rouse took their win against Glenn when the teams last played back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 35-10 score. Do the Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Grizzlies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
