Basketball Game Preview: Cedarcrest Red Wolves vs. Hazen Highlanders

The Cedarcrest Red Wolves will challenge the Hazen Highlanders at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Tuesday, Cedarcrest came up short against Juanita and fell 61-54.

Meanwhile, Hazen suffered their closest loss since December 4, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Interlake by a score of 67-65. The Highlanders haven't had much luck with the Saints recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Cedarcrest has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Hazen, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.

Cedarcrest was able to grind out a solid win over Hazen when the teams last played back in December of 2024, winning 62-50. Will Cedarcrest repeat their success, or does Hazen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
