Baseball Recap: Oakville Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Oakville won the last time they faced Mary M. Knight and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Acorns put the hurt on the Owls with a sharp 19-5 win. The Acorns might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by 13 runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Koner Burnett, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, five stolen bases, and three runs. He also brought in four RBI, which is notable because Oakville is undefeated when he posts at least three RBI, but 4-9 otherwise. Giovanni Rodas was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
