Softball Recap: Lenox Comes Up Short

Lenox lost against Atlantic back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers came up short against the Trojans, falling 12-2.

Lenox has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Atlantic, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-8 record.

Lenox has already played their next contest (against Clarke), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Atlantic, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Bondurant-Farrar on the 14th.
