Duke won the last time they faced Merritt and things went their way on Friday too. The Duke Tigers took down the Merritt Oilers 54-38. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Duke has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36 points. As for Merritt, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.

Duke didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 52-45 loss against Laverne on the 25th. Merritt has also already played their next contest, a 56-39 defeat against Hammon on the 25th.
