Carter came up big in Charleston Catholic's 52-48 win
Layla Carter now has a new season-high in points thanks to her big game on Thursday. Poca had no answer to Carter as she dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds. We rated that as her best performance of the season, edging out her previous best set back in December of 2023.
Carter and Charleston Catholic will head out on the road to challenge the Raiders at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup will pit Carter up against Roane County's star small forward Hope Mason. Will Carter turn in another gem to overcome Charleston Catholic? We'll have our answer very soon.
