Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West County). They strolled past the Kingston Cougars with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 79-63. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 67-49 defeat the last time these two teams met.

West County is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points over those games. As for Kingston, they dropped their record down to 8-11 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

West County will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ste. Genevieve at 7:30 p.m. on February 18th. One thing working in Ste. Genevieve's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight contests. As for Kingston, they have already played their next game, a 55-53 defeat against South Iron on the 6th.
