Softball Game Preview: Holy Cross Indians vs. Boone County Rebels

The Holy Cross Indians will venture away from home to square off against the Boone County Rebels at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Holy Cross fell victim to Ryle and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 9-0 to the Raiders. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Boone County can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 12-7 win over Lloyd Memorial.

Holy Cross now has a losing record of 7-8-1. As for Boone County, their victory bumped their record up to 4-19.

Holy Cross came out on top in a nail-biter against Boone County in their previous matchup back in March, sneaking past 8-7. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Rebels have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
