Football Game Preview: San Tan Charter vs. South Pointe

On Friday San Tan Charter take on South Pointe at 7:00 PM. San Tan Charter are coming into the matchup hot, having won three in a row.

San Tan Charter strolled past Canyon State Academy with points to spare last week, taking the game 18-0. Sophomore Jacob Loggins and junior Jaylen Galaviz were among the main playmakers for San Tan Charter as the former caught passes for 176 yards and 3 touchdowns and the latter passed for 288 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Meanwhile, after a dominant win in their match two weeks ago, South Pointe were humbled. They took a 14-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sequoia Pathway Academy.

San Tan Charter's victory lifted them to 3-0 while South Pointe's loss dropped them down to 2-1. We'll find out if San Tan Charter can add another positive mark to their record or if South Pointe can shake off the loss and take the spring out of San Tan Charter's step.
