Recap: Grandview Wolves vs. Arapahoe Warriors
The Grandview Wolves lost against the Arapahoe Warriors back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Grandview fell 50-41 to Arapahoe. Grandview has not had much luck with Arapahoe recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the loss, Grandview still got an impressive performance from Cole Holtman, who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Noah Sevy, who scored five points along with two blocks.
Arapahoe's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cass Henry, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Henry also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Rifky Sedhom was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Grandview's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Arapahoe, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-7.
Grandview will face off against Columbine at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Columbine comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Arapahoe, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Smoky Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Smoky Hill has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,034 points over their last 15 games.
