James Donofrio spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on three hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

Greenfield saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Christopher Tankersley, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.
Greenfield pushed their record up to 13-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for John Paul II Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.
Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. John Paul II Catholic has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .432.
