Softball Recap: St. Anne Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when St. Anne challenged Donovan on Friday. The Cardinals lost 12-1 to the Wildcats. The loss continues a trend for the Cardinals in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost six in a row.

St. Anne saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily Fox, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

St. Anne's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Donovan, they pushed their record up to 7-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

St. Anne didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-4 loss against Illinois Lutheran on the 5th. As for Donovan, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-3 defeat against Gardner-South Wilmington on the 6th.
