Basketball Recap: Cherokee Chiefs vs. Burlington Township Falcons
Cherokee suffered their biggest defeat since January 14th on Wednesday. They came up short against the Burlington Township Falcons, falling 53-32. While losing is never fun, the Chiefs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Falcons are ranked 32nd).
Burlington Township was led to victory by Baron Davis and Quayd Hendryx. Davis went 6-for-10 to rack up 14 points in addition to seven boards and five assists, while Hendryx went 5-for-9 en route to 15 points along with five assists and three steals.
