Softball Game Preview: Warner Christian Academy Eagles vs. Crescent City Raiders

The Warner Christian Academy Eagles will kick their season off against the Crescent City Raiders on Thursday. First pitch is scheduled at 6:00 p.m.

Crescent City is headed into Thursday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 16th straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They lost 15-0 to Umatilla.

Crescent City's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

As for Warner Christian Academy, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished on the wrong side of .500 (4-7), but they'll be hoping to turn things around this year.

Warner Christian Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Crescent City when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 15-13. The rematch might be a little tougher for Warner Christian Academy since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
