Ensworth is 8-2 against Father Ryan since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Tigers will head out to square off against the Irish at 4:30 p.m. Ensworth has given up an average of 7.5 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Ensworth took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Montgomery Bell Academy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Tigers won by a run and slipped past the Big Red 14-13. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Father Ryan came up short against Davidson Academy on Wednesday, falling 18-12. The Irish have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ensworth's victory bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Father Ryan, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-16.

Ensworth skirted past Father Ryan 9-8 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
