             Cumberland Valley is 9-1 against Central Dauphin East since November of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Friday. The Cumberland Valley Eagles will head out to  face off against the Central Dauphin East Panthers  at 7:00  p.m. The two teams have allowed few  points on average, (Cumberland Valley: 15.8, Central Dauphin East: 9.4) so any  points scored will be well earned.
 Last Friday, Cumberland Valley sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  10-7  win over Central Dauphin. The ten-point effort marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring  game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
 Cumberland Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Kameron Wolfe led the charge by throwing for 173 yards and a touchdown while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushing for 63 yards. A healthy portion of that aerial production (103 yards to be exact)  went to  Nolan Buzalka, who also brought in a  receiving touchdown.
 Meanwhile, Central Dauphin East put another one in the bag  on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Altoona 34-0 on the road. Given the Panthers' advantage  in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings  (they are ranked 43rd, while the Mountain Lions are ranked 215th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Cumberland Valley now  has a winning record of 3-2. As for Central Dauphin East, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Cumberland Valley was able to grind out a solid  win over Central Dauphin East in their previous matchup  back in September of 2023, winning  31-24.
